Operating Procedure

Stage Procedure
Cell-core winding Adjust the material-guide channel ruler plate so it matches the electrode sheet width. Place the electrode sheet into the guide channel, then position the leading end of the electrode sheet at the winding needle. Push the right needle inward so it engages with the left needle and clamps the electrode sheet. Press the foot valve to rotate the motor and complete winding. After winding, push the right needle away and remove the cell core.
Round needle replacement Insert the left round needle into the bearing and tighten the coupling screw. Position the electrode sheet, then engage the right round needle with the left round needle to perform winding.
Square needle replacement Insert the square winding-needle component into the bearing and tighten the coupling screw. Loosen and remove the support-wheel bracket from the two screws at the bottom to prevent interference. To adjust square-needle width, loosen the square-needle locking screw, set the required width, and retighten the screw.

Configuration Considerations

The applicable flat-cell dimensions are defined by length, width, and maximum thickness. Before winding a flat cell, the guide-channel ruler plate should be adjusted to correspond with the electrode sheet width. The guide plate provides adjustment in up/down, left/right, and front/back directions, allowing the electrode sheet path to be positioned before the winding sequence starts.

For cylindrical cells, the applicable size is within Phi35 x L90 mm. The standard round winding needle is Phi3 mm. The round-needle procedure requires the left needle to be inserted into the bearing and secured by tightening the coupling screw. The right round needle is then engaged with the left round needle after the electrode sheet has been positioned.

For flat-cell winding, the square winding-needle assembly is installed in the bearing and secured at the coupling. The square-needle width can be adjusted by loosening its locking screw, setting the width, and tightening the screw again. The support-wheel bracket is removed from its two bottom screws during square-needle replacement to avoid interference with this configuration.

The winding mechanism provides adjustable speed from 0 to 170 revolutions per minute and can rotate forward or reverse. These controls are available alongside the guide-position adjustments and needle changes described above. The winding support wheel is used to maintain winding tightness, while the winding-tail support bracket is included to improve the precision of the wound cell core.
