This semi-automatic forming system is designed to punch and form aluminum-plastic laminate film into pouch shells for polymer lithium batteries. It combines a 3T power source with a four-guide-post structure to produce stable, accurately guided forming motion. The equipment supports deep, controlled pocket formation while protecting the integrity of the pocket and PP layer. Its compact footprint, straightforward operation, and rapid mold adjustment make it suitable for controlled pouch-cell shell preparation.
The unit is intended for soft-pack lithium battery manufacturing processes that require single-pocket four-side-seal shells, as well as single- or double-pocket folded shells. It is appropriate for battery R&D, pilot production, process verification, and production operations where pouch dimensions, pocket depth, and formed-edge quality need close control. Operators place a cut film sheet in the mold, locate it correctly, start the cycle, and remove the formed film after automatic punch-shell forming is complete.
