Operators manually feed positive and negative electrode sheets into the winding section, where the equipment interleaves them with separator material, performs the programmed winding process, applies termination tape automatically, and discharges the finished cell automatically. Its single-needle through-winding architecture supports accurate formation while keeping needle replacement straightforward.
The equipment is suited to cylindrical cell development, pilot production, and manufacturing processes requiring controlled winding of electrode and separator materials. It supports separator widths and electrode widths from 33-150 mm, accommodating cylindrical cells with applicable outside diameters of ∮35-62∮ mm. The process is engineered to achieve the specified layer relationship: separator wrapping the negative electrode and negative electrode wrapping the positive electrode.
