Product Overview

This eight-channel coin cell battery tester is designed for precise evaluation of small rechargeable and primary cells. With independently controlled constant-current and constant-voltage sources on every channel, the system supports programmable test sequences across a 0–5 V voltage range and 5 μA–10 mA current range. It gives research teams a compact, flexible platform for controlled charging, discharging, cycling, pulse testing, and performance characterization.
The equipment is suited to electrode material research, coin cell performance testing, small-scale battery formation, capacity grading, battery pack evaluation, and DCIR analysis. It supports lithium-ion cells, nickel-metal hydride cells, zinc-manganese watch batteries, and other small-format coin cell chemistries.
Four-wire voltage and current measurement, 16-bit AD and DA resolution, dual-loop source architecture, and independent channel control help maintain repeatable results. Programmable protection limits, power-failure data protection, offline testing, and centralized data management provide dependable operation during extended experiments and demanding laboratory workflows.
Key Features
-
Eight Independent Test Channels: Each channel operates independently, allowing multiple cells, test conditions, or experimental groups to be evaluated simultaneously without sacrificing control flexibility.
-
Wide Low-Current Measurement Range: Three selectable current ranges cover 5 μA–1 mA, 1 mA–5 mA, and 5 mA–10 mA. This arrangement supports sensitive low-current testing as well as higher-current small-cell evaluations.
-
Programmable Constant-Current and Constant-Voltage Control: Each channel provides independent constant-current and constant-voltage sources. Charging and discharging profiles can be programmed and controlled through computer software.
-
Multiple Charge and Discharge Modes: Charging supports constant-current, constant-voltage, constant-current constant-voltage, and constant-power operation. Discharge modes include constant-current, constant-power, constant-resistance, constant-voltage, and constant-current constant-voltage control.
-
High-Resolution Four-Wire Measurement: 16-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog resolution, an input impedance of ≥1 GΩ, and four-wire sensing improve measurement integrity for small cells and low-current experiments.
-
Fast Current Response: Current response from 10% FS to 90% FS is less than 500 μs, supporting pulse experiments and dynamic characterization where rapid electrical transitions must be captured reliably.
-
Flexible Pulse Testing: The system supports constant-current and constant-power pulse charging or discharging, with a minimum pulse width of 500 ms and up to 32 different pulses within one pulse step. Charging and discharging can be switched continuously within a pulse step.
-
Advanced Cycling and DCIR Functions: Cycle testing supports 1–65,535 cycles, up to 254 steps per single cycle, and three levels of nested loops. Users can define sampling points for DCIR calculation.
-
Comprehensive Protection and Data Security: Safety limits can be configured for voltage, current, capacity, and delay time. Power-failure data protection and offline testing help preserve test continuity and experimental records.
